I look suck huh? It's as expected anyway. A level 1 player no more no less.

Lucky that the gaming capsule has the ability to influence the player biology clock. Since your brain  recognize that you spent a whole day in game they only have to sleep the amount of night time in game which make it only 2-3 hours in RL instead of 8 hours you normally need to fully recover.

After wake up, I get back to the game and found Bato there waiting for me.

- Aghh you are here, I didn't notice yesterday that you are an "Stranger". For a second I thought you run away or something else.

It seem that people in this world called players as "Stranger". They don't really like us but most of them show no hostile toward players. I am not sure what Bato mean by saying "something else" but I still ask him.

- Anyway what can I help you, Bato?

- ... uhm ah, no, nothing serious. I just want to check you up and see if you are ready to help out on the field, I know that you are an novice in farming but any help is going to be appreciated.
- Ok, I am ready anytime.
- Good then follow me, we will go to the field, I will do a few example then you can follow.

After we arrived at the field Bato use a Scythe to cut down the crop swiftly. After a few second he already go half the field with me have my jaw drop form awe and my eyes ball almost pop out. Turn around walking toward me and see my face Bato let out a big laugh
- Ha ha ha, stop make that expression or I will hurt my stomach from laughing. 

- Ehhh? - still not entirely recover from the shocking fast speed of Bato from doing his farm work I am unable to reply him properly.

- Hey stop that, seriously. And here take this scythe and try to cut the crop.

With Bato push over the scythe I return to my new job and start to work on it. After a clear a few line of crops fall down Bato clap his hands. 

- Good job, it seem that you are getting the general idea of this.

Not bad I guess. At least I can become a farmer in the future if I want.
- Okay then you continue work on harvest this field, I will take care of those over there, if you feel like it you can try the next field too.

With that said, Bato went to his fields leave me behind with 2 big fields that need to be done.

Well I will be damn if I can't even take care of just 2 fields, It's only a beginning quest, shouldn't be too hard. With that mindset I start to swing the scythe and continue to work. After complete just half the first field I feel totally exhausted. My energy drop to 1 and satiety drop to 70. At first I think I just need to eat to recover so I take out the bread and a slice of meat that Bato's wife gave me before we go to work and eat. Once done eating and drinking the water, I immediately swing the scythe again but it feel so tired make me stop and check what is wrong. It turn out that my satiety do go up to 95 but my energy only recover to 40.

After taken some more rest to look like my satiety drop but my energy go up with rate about 1:10. Once I fully rest I continue to work until I exhausted again without even one field done.

Stamina +1	Continuous working till exhausted on the field make your stamina rise allow you to work longer.

So I can gain stats by working too huh? With 1 stamina I also get 10 more energy cap make my energy now 20/110. Taken more rest and once I have about 100 energy then I return to work on the rest of the fields. Gotten used to the work make me able swing the scythe faster and the crop fall easier.

Not bad at all. I gain 2 stats by do farming job. It's time consuming but acceptable. 

At the end of the day, I somehow manage to complete the second field. Bato come to take me back to the village.

- Wow, that's impressive. You manage to get both field done in one day, not bad at all for the first time. I guess you gonna get yourself a reward. Let me see ... how about a kiss from me.
- ...
Look at my dumbfound face Lato laughed so hard that he hold his stomach as if it's hurting.
- hahahaha, you look so funny, no worry, I was just joking around. Okay get your ass up, we need to get back to the village, the field is close to the wood so it could be dangerous, wolf sometimes venture out of the forest and attack farmers.
Hearing such danger lurking so close I drop a cold sweat and jump straight up hurry packing the wheat with Lato and then to the village as fast as we can.

That night I having the dinner with Lato's family. His wife name Jean and he also have a cute small daughter age 5 name Bess. His niece Lara is living with his family as her parents died 3 years ago. Needless to say she is a beauty but her face seem to be sad. She just turn 15 last month but she was betrothed since she was borned and once she turn 16 her husband will come and take her to his home.

It's not like it's my problem anyway so I just keep eating and listening to their stories about the village and everything else. Things keep repeating like that for 3 days. So at the end of the third day I had gained 5 Stamina and 2 Dexterity, not so much I guess but a stat gain is a little more advantage for my future so I try to work as diligent as possible. My farming skill also reach Beginner lv 5.

Suddenly I heard Lato screaming while running as fast as he can toward me.
- Run, run Eumenes, the wolves are behind.

Hear that I immediately throw my scythe down and turn around run with Lato. We are lucky that the wolves not giving chase since they saw we are close to the village. 

That's night isn't exactly what you called as a good night as the news Lato bought really troublesome. He saw a pack of wolf about 30 wolves leave the forest and move toward the farm. 30 wolves is considered as a big pack and not easy to deal with. The road to Minos city pass through the farm so we have no chance to ask for help, and even if we able to call for help it's unlikely that the city will sent help to the village since this is an barbarian village. Everyone gathered together in the Village Hall to discuss about the situation.

- It's troublesome.

- Not only we can't call for help we also can't harvest.

- Yeah we need to do something.
- But what could we do? We are just a farming village not a fighting one.

- Even so if we don't do something fast we will lost both the crops and the farm not mention if we late on the tribute deliver Minos may turn hostile on us.

- ...

Everyone become silent. The village's future look grim. I can't bring myself down with this village. There gotta be a way out of this problem. 

- Err... may I speak?

- Eumenes huh? well you can of course.

- So how much people in village that we can considered as combatant ?
- About 30 at most the rest can only do defending job inside village. In case of under siege we can muster about 80  in total but almost half is just kids around your age while some is old.

- Then I have a plan but I need you to follow my plan closely.
- A plan? Great. Let's hear it since we are at the end of the road already.

......

The next day everyone in the village start to get my plan in motion while I have to logout to go to class. Let's hope that once I am back everything is ready. And I also hope that my plan will work out or I am screwed.
